The Macmillan Pacesetters Project update
It has been a while since I wrote the original pacesetter project post, and so here is a quick update on the status of my hunt so far. Before I go into the details though, I will first like to thank everyone who sent me tips and leads on where to find them, and also to Tomi who bought me a whole bunch of them and Oluwapelumi who also got me one too. You rock!
Since the last post, I’ve gotten 19 new additions to my collection, I have also changed my mind about getting just the old ones, to getting all 130 Macmillan pacesetters books.
Out of the 19 new additions, 5 were gotten from Amab books…a Minna, Niger state based bookshop, that offers shipping via NIPOST to anywhere in Nigeria, one was gotten from the publishers office at ilupeju, Lagos while the remaining 13 were gotten off amazon. All the books came in mint condition.
The stash features a couple of scarce Pacesetter books which I had been looking for for a while including: Egbvu my Love, The Worshippers, Mark of the Cobra and Zero hour.
My stash now sits at 36, meaning there are 94 pacesetter books out there in the wild that I haven’t gotten, so any help is appreciated. You will find a list with the ones I have gotten so far here.
